Deluxe Room

You will love it for its fabrics in alternating shades of blue and green—a symbolic reference to the enchanting Amalfi Coast.

Classic furnishings and fine contemporary finishes combine in perfect harmony, represented by a single antique family piece—a Neapolitan bedside table from the early 19th century. You will be welcomed with the essence of Campania style. Our Deluxe Room features parquet flooring and original watercolors from local artists to enhance the warmth of a southern Italian welcome.

Some curious facts about this room…

  • This is the room I am most attached to because it is here that I have the greatest memories of my childhood. When designing it, I deliberately included my favorite colors and an antique piece from my maternal great-grandfather.
  • During the building’s time as a theater (read the story here), this was the room designated for the actors’ dressing rooms.
  • The original name of this room was “Prince Arechi,” named for the second founder of Salerno. It is because of him that Salerno became an opulent city and the one that gave life to the Salerno Medical School in the 8th century.
